Group Visits

Group Visit Request Form

Though we are not able to host group visits on our beautiful campus at this time, we invite high school classes or organizations to experience Indiana University virtually! We are happy to schedule a virtual information session with an admissions representative, as well as an IU student panel. These virtual visits are available Monday–Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please submit the request form below at least two weeks prior to your intended virtual visit date.

If you are an individual or family member and wish to learn more about IU, check out our many virtual visit options.

Ways to explore

We are now scheduling limited guided tours of campus. If our tour times are full, please note that the system is updated in real time as cancellations occur.

IU Bloomington takes the health and safety of our campus community very seriously. All visitors to campus must adhere to guidelines and personal precautions required for Indiana University community members, as well as any applicable travel restrictions.

If you aren’t able to join us for a guided tour, there are other ways to experience IU. With virtual visits, driving tours, and self-guided walking tours, you can discover what IU has to offer and why you belong here.

Small primarily outdoor guided tours for students and up to two registered guests will follow these guidelines:

  • Registration in advance of your arrival on campus is required. Students and guests who are not pre-registered in advance of the session will not be permitted to join the tour.
  • Campus walking tours will remain primarily outdoors. Please ensure you check the forecast and prepare for the weather.
  • Public health and safety concerns could require the cancellation of your campus tour. You will be notified as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation of your scheduled tour.
  • Before arriving on campus, visitors must take a temperature check and self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms. A person who has COVID-19 symptoms or who is being treated for COVID-19 or potential COVID-19 may not visit campus.
  • While on campus, visitors must follow all of the on-campus guidance applicable to members of the IU community. Masks are optional for campus visitors who are fully vaccinated. Those who are not vaccinated or are in the process of becoming fully vaccinated—which occurs two weeks past the last dose of a COVID-19 vaccine—should wear a mask on campus.
  • Because campus tours will be outdoors, they will not include information sessions with our academic schools and colleges. Explore our virtual visit options for students to connect with academic programs, involvement opportunities, and more.
