Group Visits

Does your school or organization have 10 or more students who want to see IU Bloomington’s gorgeous campus?

We are happy to accommodate group visits of 10–75 high school students and chaperones. Visits can include a campus tour and brief information session from an admissions representative or a virtual presentation. After we receive your group visit request via the form below, we will work to accommodate your request subject to availability. Please submit your request at least four weeks before your intended visit date.

IU continues to monitor the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus). We know that the public health situation is dynamic and risk tolerance varies by individual. Given these facts, please keep in mind that as the situation evolves adjustments to on-campus visit options may be required. You can find the most up-to-date information regarding campus visits and events on our website.

We will host group visits this fall between September 7 and December 9. We host visits Monday–Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

We will not be able to accommodate visits on the following dates due to campus holidays and events.

  • October 14
  • November 18–November 27

When completing the form below, please provide an alternative date in addition to your preferred date. If you have more than two dates available, please provide further details in the notes section.

Group visits are just for organizations. If you have a large family, or your family and another family want to visit on the same day, please schedule a daily visit. If you need assistance with a family reservation please contact 812-855-0661.

If you have questions about a group request, please email

Public health and safety concerns could require the cancellation of your campus visit. You will be notified as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation of your scheduled visit. A person in your group who has COVID-19 symptoms or is being treated for COVID-19 or potential COVID-19 may not visit campus.

Note: If visit times are full, please check back. The system updates in real time as cancellations occur and as new dates become available. We are currently unable to offer a waitlist for visits.

If you are unable to join us in person for your campus visit, there are other ways to experience IU. With virtual visitsdriving tours, and self-guided walking tours, you can discover what IU has to offer and why you belong here.
