Students in grades 9–11 are invited to use this free online college preparation course. Ready IU features sections on application and scholarship essay writing, college application tips, and preparing for a successful start to your college planning.

Reach IU

Fall and spring, Throughout Indiana
Students in grades 8 through 10

Reach IU helps students kick-start their college and career planning with tips and tools from IU Admissions experts. The program prepares students to explore their interests, set goals for the future, and prepare for college both academically and financially. Families and supporters are invited to attend. This program is offered in partnership with community organizations across Indiana

IU Precollege Day

Students in grades 8 through 12

Get a head start on pursuing your passions and try out college at IU! Precollege Day is a great way to learn more about the dozens of programs available to middle and high school students, from summer camps to year-round virtual programs.

Celebrate your admission and discover the opportunities waiting for you at IU. You’ll learn more about financial support and resources, explore IU's career services, enjoy a panel discussion with IU’s cultural center leaders, learn about your next steps to enrolling as a student, and more. Held in locations around Indiana, these events are for admitted students and their families. You'll have an informal meal with IU alumni, students, faculty, and staff—a great chance to ask questions and get advice on preparing for and succeeding at IU.

This series of monthly virtual workshops for parents, families, and supporters of admitted students provides information to help you support your student during their transition to college—and throughout their college journey. Hear from campus experts and have candid conversations on important topics.

IU Precollege Academy

Students ready to enter their senior year

This free, multi-day program allows high school seniors to learn more about college life and the application process and see themselves as college students—while having fun! The IU Precollege Academy is an on-campus experience where students stay overnight at IU.
