Parking options vary depending on when you visit.
Discover IU Days (daily tours), January 11-April, 30 2016 (Monday–Friday)
Please park in the GREEN LOT, GATE 12, at 1833 N. Fee Lane near Assembly Hall when arriving on campus. The Office of Admissions offers a free shuttle service from this lot directly to Admissions. This shuttle will run from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. throughout the day, Monday–Friday, to ensure you are able to get to the Office of Admissions and return to your vehicle at your convenience. Parking is free and no pass is required. Please plan to arrive at the Green Lot at least 30–45 minutes prior to your first appointment on campus to ensure that you have time to park, catch the shuttle, and check in.
Please note: The shuttle departs from the Green Lot every 20 minutes. If it is not in the lot when you arrive, it will return shortly. The following link will allow you to enter your home address to find directions which will take you directly to the Green Lot: directions to the Green Lot.
EXCEPTION: Shuttles will not run on March 14-18 or April 14-15, 2016. If you will be visiting campus on these days, please park in the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage, just south of the Office of Admissions. When you check in at the Office of Admissions, you will be provided with a parking permit to exit the garage at no charge.
Free parking for Saturday visits is available on the upper level of the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage, just south of the Office of Admissions. No permit is necessary. To get to our office, use either the stairs in the northwest corner of the garage or the sidewalk by the garage's entrance or exit.
You’ll probably fly into and out of Indianapolis International Airport. You can rent a car or take a shuttle (see below) to Bloomington.
- Shuttles and private cars
GO Express Travel, (800) 589-6004, travels between Indianapolis International Airport and Bloomington several times each day. It also has private cars and a shuttle to and from Chicagoland.
Star of America, (800) 228-0814, runs a shuttle between Indianapolis International Airport and Bloomington multiple times a day.
If you plan to stay in Bloomington overnight, you can stay on campus at the Biddle Hotel and Conference Center in the Indiana Memorial Union. Bloomington also has many other hotels and accommodations.
