- Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (OVPDEI): Established in 1999, OVPDEI is committed to cultivating a diverse, inclusive environment that supports equal access, participation, and representation on all IU campuses.
- Accessible Educational Services (EAS): EAS is dedicated to ensuring that students with disabilities have the tools, support services, and resources that allow equal access and reasonable accommodations to be successful at Indiana University Bloomington.
- Student Central: Take care of the business of being a student with Student Central. Learn about applying for financial aid, managing college costs, registering for classes, and more.
- Learning communities: Live with students who share a common interest. The 20+ communities include Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and the Thomas I. Atkins Living Learning Center, which emphasizes community service, cultural awareness, and the study of African American history and culture.
- Student involvement: IU has 750+ student organizations—including many for ethnic and cultural groups—plus service and leadership opportunities.

- Center of Excellence for Women in Technology (CEWiT): Join a community of like-minded women and learn about scholarship and internship opportunities.

- IU-MSI Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Initiative: This partnership among IU and 11 historically black colleges and universities connects students with research opportunities.
- Office of Mentoring Services and Leadership Development: Participate in peer mentoring and related programs.
IU offers scholarships and scholarship programs to support students from diverse backgrounds. You’ll find a few of these programs below.

- 21st Century Scholarship Covenant: This IU award covers food, housing, and books for students who receive the state of Indiana’s 21st Century Scholarship. It also includes mentoring, academic and professional guidance, and networking opportunities.
- Groups Scholars Program: If you’re the first person in your family to attend college, you have limited finances, and you’re recommended for the program, you may qualify for academic advising, financial aid counseling, and tutoring.
- Hudson and Holland Scholars Program: If you have an outstanding academic record, strong leadership experiences, and a commitment to social justice, you may be eligible to apply to this community of scholars and receive scholarship funds, academic support, and guidance in transitioning to college life. If you meet the initial eligibility criteria, you can apply for this scholarship, which is renewable for up to four years.
- LGBTQ+ Alumni Association mini-grants: The LGBTQ+ Alumni Association awards mini-grants to student organizations and individual students to design and implement projects that support the LGBTQ+ community.
- McNair Scholars Program: Interested in eventually earning a doctorate? If you’re a first-generation college student and you either have limited finances or are an underrepresented minority, you can apply to do research with faculty, get help preparing for graduate school, and possibly qualify for tuition assistance.
- Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Study Abroad Scholarship: Eligible students can apply for this award, which helps pay for international study.
- Won-Joon Yoon Scholarship: This award goes to students whose accomplishments and goals demonstrate tolerance, understanding, and commitment to service.
