Learn all about transferring to IU Bloomington

Interested in making the transfer to IU Bloomington? Whether you attend community college, a different IU campus, or another four-year institution, our transfer information sessions will help you navigate the transfer process.

When you sign up, you can choose from an in-person Transfer Tuesday, which will include a campus tour and information session, or a Virtual Transfer Talk information session.

No matter which session you attend, you’ll learn about the many academic, social, and cultural opportunities at Indiana University Bloomington. We will discuss important topics relating to transfer admission standards, the application process, advising, and more. We will also show you how to use the transfer tools and websites available, including how to create your exploratory plan, use the Credit Transfer Service, and explore the iGPS degree maps.

If you have credits not listed on our Credit Transfer Service, we will evaluate your transcripts as part of the program. At the session, we will provide you with specific directions on how to send transcript information.

While on campus, visitors must follow all of the on-campus guidance applicable to members of the IU community. On campus, masks are required indoors for all individuals and are optional outdoors for campus visitors who are fully vaccinated. Those who are not vaccinated or are in the process of becoming fully vaccinated—which occurs two weeks past the last dose of a COVID-19 vaccine—should wear a mask on campus at all times.
