Welcome to the IU Bloomington Virtual Open House!

We are so glad you are joining us for this exclusive virtual experience to find out what opportunities await you at Indiana University. Please read below for instructions on how to navigate the event and to learn more about each session.

How to participate

We will be using one continuous Zoom link for the first three sessions in today’s event, then you can join the academic sessions with the specific links provided in the session descriptions. We recommend installing the Zoom Client for Meetings at least 10 minutes prior to the session for the best event experience.

Session A

Student Experience Panel

7–7:30 p.m.

Hear what Hoosier life is like from our panel of current students. You'll have a chance to ask questions about student experiences and get answers straight from the source.

Why IU - Admission and Application Information

 7:35–8:05 p.m.

Our admissions experts will provide an overview of all that Indiana University Bloomington has to offer so you can find the reasons why IU is right for you. We'll also go over the admissions and application process, helpful scholarship and financial aid information, and give you a chance to ask questions.

Session C

Campus Resources and Support Panel

8:10–8:40 p.m.

In this session, you'll learn more about the many resources and support you can find at IU. From career development coaches to tutoring to counseling services, there is help available to you at every step along your journey.

International Student Q&A

International students can ask questions and get answers from the staff in the Office of International Services in this Q&A room. Join any time during Sessions D and E to ask about international student admissions processes, resources and support, or anything you need to know.

Session D

Academic Information Concurrent Sessions

8:45–9:15 p.m.

With 200+ majors, there are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to what you want to study! Hear from representatives from various schools to learn about the majors they offer, available school scholarships, faculty expectations, and special programs and opportunities. The same academic presentations will be available in sessions D and E, so you can attend different sessions to match your interests.

This session will cover everything from our over 80+ majors and academic resources to research opportunities and career preparation. Join us to discover what it looks like to study what you love at the College!

Find your circle of fellow creatives at the Eskenazi School. In this session we will cover general opportunities, studying abroad, internships, majors + minors, facilities, and admissions. Check out go.iu.edu/visitsoaad for other ways to explore the Eskenazi School before and after the session.
