Welcome to the IU Virtual Admitted Transfer Student Event!
How to participate
We will be using Zoom for our event. We recommend installing the Zoom Workplace at least 10 minutes prior to our opening session for the best experience.
After you have installed Zoom, use the session links below to attend. The IU Virtual Admitted Transfer Student Event will take place from 1:30–2:45 p.m.

Session 1: Welcome, Next Steps, and Student and Academic Experiences
Session 1: 1:30–2:10 p.m.
We're excited to celebrate your admission to Indiana University Bloomington and start this session off with a warm Hoosier welcome! Next, the transfer counselors with the Office of Admissions will share more information about your next steps to enroll. Then you'll get the inside scoop on academics and student life from a faculty member and current IU student.
Sessions 2 & 3: Campus Resources
Session 2: 2:15–2:30 p.m.
Session 3: 2:30–2:45 p.m.
Connect with representatives from these offices around campus to learn more about specific topics and ask questions. Pick your top topics and join one for session 2 and the other for session 3.
Advising & Major Exploration Services (AMES)
An advisor with Advising & Major Exploration Services (AMES) will share practical tips for a smooth and fulfilling transfer experience. Get answers to questions about majors, minors, degree options, exploring interests at IU Bloomington, personal and professional development, and more.
Financial Aid
Learn about your cost and financial aid options with staff from the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
