IU Bloomington awards credit for College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams to all incoming students, including those who have been or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard, and have earned a score of 50 or higher on one or more CLEP exams.
Individual schools, departments, and programs at IU Bloomington determine the credit awarded for each exam and score. To be considered for credit, students must have an official CLEP report sent to the IU Bloomington Office of Admissions.
Note: “-UN” indicates “undistributed” credit that will not be assigned to a specific course but will count toward an IU Bloomington degree.
Please note: College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) credit is offered to incoming students and those who have been or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard. Current IU students are not eligible to receive CLEP course credit.
