Attend Experience IU Day and explore your future

With top-notch academics, vibrant student life, and a gorgeous campus designed to support your success, IU Bloomington is the college where you really can have it all. At Experience IU Day, you can experience IU in person. During your visit, you and your guest(s) will:

  • Learn about IU’s exceptional schools, top-ranked academic programs, and student support services.
  • Get insight into the college search process and information about admissions and scholarships.
  • Explore campus with a guided tour led by an IU student.
  • Check out campus resources at the Opportunities Fair.
  • Talk with current students about their IU experiences.

As an added bonus, students who attend will receive a t-shirt to add some IU spirit to their wardrobe!

Please note that reservations are required and space fills up quickly. We recommend waiting for your email confirmation before making travel plans.

As you plan your trip, remember: Bloomington is in the Eastern time zone and observes daylight savings time.

Schedule

Check-in will take place at the Whittenberger Auditorium in the Indiana Memorial Union at 8 a.m. All Experience IU Day attendees will receive an agenda at that time, but here is a glimpse of what will be included in your day.

  • 8–8:45 a.m. Check-in
  • 9–9:45 a.m. Admissions presentation
  • 9:45–10:15 a.m. Student panel
  • 10:15–11:45 a.m. Campus tour
  • 11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Opportunities fair
  • 11:45 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Residence hall sample room open house (optional)
